Karwa Chauth- is one of the most popular festivals of north India. mostly celebrated by the married women's in India.
On this day, they observe a fast, praying for the long life of their husband.
Karwa Chauth falls on the fourth day after Sharad Purnima, the Full Moon day in Ashwin month.
according to English calander its comes in September or October month here date is not fix.
During the pooja the women of the neighborhood usually gather in someone’s house and perform the pooja together.
They then recite the karwa chauth Katha(Story) to each other and wait for moon rises.
Once the moon rises, the women see its reflection in a thali of water, or through a dupatta or a sieve. They offer water to the moon and seek blessings.
They pray for the safety, prosperity and long life of their husbands.
after doing puja they are take first bite of food by her husband and breacking fast.
